Overview
The Midea AirBoost Air Cooled Screw Chiller series delivers industrial-grade cooling performance for demanding T3 environments. Operating at 60Hz, this series provides exceptional capacity ranging from 316kW to 1,449kW with R134a or eco-friendly R513A refrigerant options. The units support T1/T3/FC configurations and carry full AHRI certification.
Each unit features semi-hermetic dual-rotor screw compressors paired with advanced variable frequency drive technology, achieving 0.1Hz precision control for predictive temperature management. The zero-start current soft-start function eliminates grid stress, while the optional quick-start mode restores full capacity within 60 seconds—critical for data centers and temperature-sensitive applications.
The AirBoost series incorporates innovative free cooling capabilities with both direct and indirect configurations, offering three distinct operational modes to maximize energy savings. Additional features include flooded evaporators, inverted-M air-side heat exchangers, optional noise reduction kits reducing sound by 5-10dBA, and a 7-inch touchscreen intelligent control system. The ultra-wide operating range of -25°C to 52°C ensures reliable performance across extreme climate conditions.
